Donate to Scouting

The Potawatomi Area Council has been a part of the greater Waukesha County area since 1931 with the help of support from our incredible communities. We depend on donations, volunteers and various types of support to shape our youth into our future leaders and provide services to our communities. We welcome and appreciate support in various forms to achieve a better future for our youth and neighbors.

Center For Scouting Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Thursday, July 11th marked a significant milestone for our Scouting community as we celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Center for Scouting building in Camp Long Lake! We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this special occasion and contributed to its success.
Special thanks to Brett Miller, our Major Gifts Chairman, for investing countless hours in leadership and guidance that led our committee to success! A huge shoutout goes to all our generous donors whose support made this dream a reality. Your contributions have truly made a difference. Special recognition goes to MSI General Corporation for their outstanding construction work, ensuring our new center is not just functional but also beautiful. And thank you to the Gratz family, our largest donor, whose incredible generosity has left an indelible mark on our camp’s future.
Together, we’re shaping a brighter future for scouting at Camp Long Lake. Here’s to many more adventures and memories to come!

Support Scouting

One of the simplest ways you can support the scouting programs and community events we provide at Potawatomi Area Council is with donations. Any amount of money can help us fund events, activities, scholarships, facilities and the various programs we offer to guide young women and men on the right path to adulthood. We make it easy to donate now safely through our website.

Camp Long Lake

Gifts-in-kind are an important part of Camp Lone Lakes overall success each year by providing the best program for our Scouts. By controlling overall costs while continuing to improve the overall facilities is paramount to maintaining a thriving camp for future generations.

Brick Campaign

The Potawatomi Area Council is excited to invite you to become a permanent part of Camp Long Lake’s history by a commemorative engraved brick in our flag plaza. This is a unique and special way for your child, family, business or you to be honored in a memorable way. Proceeds are used to provide staff scholarships each summer to our summer camp staff.
