The Potawatomi Area Council operates a Scout camp that provides multiple events and activities that service Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Exploring Posts and Venture Crews! Each event offers a variety of opportunities for paid summer staff and volunteer positions. Area Director
Ages 18+
Summer camp staff who supervise and oversee a camp program or service area. They are responsible for coaching their staff and ensuring a quality experience for our campers (Aquatics, Boating, Camp Craft, STEM/Econ, Shooting Sports, Project First Class (PFC) and High Adventure. Minimum ages 18 or 21 depending on position and level of responsibility.

Counselor in Training
Ages 14+
A staff member, usually 14-15 years old who is training to be a paid staff member. The program exists to provide the necessary tools for future and continued success on camp staff through specialized training and on-the-job practical experience. Individuals must commit to a minimum of three weeks.
Support Scouting
One of the easiest ways to support Camp Long Lake Scout Reservation is through donations. Any amount helps maintain our cabins, campsites, dining halls, and programs that provide Scouts with outdoor experiences and opportunities to grow into future leaders. We rely on donations, volunteers, and community support to give Scouts the best camping experience and develop skills that last a lifetime.
