Become a Friend of Scouting
Friends of Scouting includes the many volunteers, organizations and contributors that make scouting possible for our youth. We have an estimated 2,500 volunteers each year at Potawatomi Area Council that support about 5,000 youth in our local scouting programs. Our Friends of Scouting can contribute directly as troop leaders or event coordinators, or offer monetary, supply or skill support in many different ways.
Schedule a Family Friends of Scouting Presentation
Conducting a Unit FOS presentation allows Scouting families, volunteers, and friends to learn about our council and contribute financial resources to deliver Scouting here in Waukesha, Jefferson, Walworth, Washington, and Dodge counties. A 10-15-minute Family FOS presentation is conducted during unit gatherings such as a Pack Blue and Gold or Troop Court of Honor during January, February, March, or April. Scheduling a Family FOS presentation helps the Potawatomi Area Council raise funds to operate, but also to put 90% of all money raised back into the programming we all love.

Support Scouting
One of the easiest ways to support the scouting programs and community events offered by the Potawatomi Area Council is through donations. Any amount helps fund our events, activities, scholarships, facilities, and programs that guide young women and men on their path to adulthood. We rely on donations, volunteers, and community support to shape our youth into future leaders and provide valuable services to our communities.
