Maximize your giving impact and support program Gifts-in-kind are an important part of Camp Long Lakes overall success each year by providing the best program for our Scouts. By controlling overall costs while continuing to improve the overall facilities is paramount to maintaining a thriving camp for future generations. By aligning with our donors personal interests and/or professional expertise we are able to continue to make improvements each year. A potential donor who owns a quarry might be interested in donating $1,000 to the Potawatomi Area Council, but if his gift was in a $1,000 of his cost of gravel, that could save the council $3,000 if we were buying it retail with another donor’s funds. |
