PAC Venturing Network/Committee Local Leadership Opportunities

The PAC Venturing Network/Committee has several leadership opportunities for both youth member and adults.

We are looking for several motivated youth members to help drive the Venturing program in our council.

We are also looking for additional adult members including a new candidate for the committee chair position.

And, we are looking for an adult who is interested in rock climbing to advise a new climbing crew.

If you have an interest in building the Venturing program in our council along with growing your crew please contact us at: venturingcomm@pacbsa.org

These are great opportunities to build and grow yourself and the Venturing program.

Do you want to get involved in Venturing beyond your council but you don't know how? Here is your chance. Be a Vice President for Area 3. The application can be found at http://crventuring.org/document2.php?s=1&id=411. Just download the application, fill it out, and submit it. Its that simple. All details can be found on the application.

The Area 3 Venturing Facebook group is currently larger than two regions. We can grow larger than another region. Here is what you have to do: click on Invite People to Join underneath the group picture and invite ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS, Venturing or not. By doing this you help spread the news of Venturing, help grow our Facebook group, and increase the knowledge of the Venturing program to those who are not in Venturing.

Our current goal is this: invite all your friends and grow the Area 3 Venturing group to 1000 members by September 1. That is only 133 more members than we have now. Not a big task if all 867 of us invite new people. So lets see if we can do it.

The Venturing Network is looking for new youth leadership.  As we start with the new districts in the council we want to have a youth member from each of the new districts.  These new positions will fill the president and vice president spots for the network.  If you are interested or can recommend someone or you just want more information please contact us as soon as possible at: venturingcomm@pacbsa.org This promises to be an exciting time for the Venturing program in the council.

The Potawatomi Area Council Venturing Network (PAC Venturing Network is our council's version of the Venturing Officer's Association (VOA).  Unlike a traditional VOA, the PAC Venturing Network is open to, and invites, all crew members to participate.  The main goal of the Network is to get crews together to socialize, share ideas, and to plan and carryout council-wide Network activities.
