OA Election Information

Unit Elections will be conducted from January through April 2010.  Troop Representatives or Scoutmasters should schedule elections one of three ways; at OA Chapter or Lodge Executive Committee meetings, by signing up at Roundtable, or by registering on line (Below).

Elections must be completed by April 30, 2010 and submitted by May 1, 2010.  Please schedule elections early so that election teams can be assigned.

Adult OA members are needed to advise each election.  Sign-up below.

Adults may be recommended for membership in the OA from units in which at least one boy is elected.  Requests need to be submitted on the Adult Recommendation Form (Below), and are due at the council service center by May 1, 2010.

If your Troop has elected OA candidates, you are not attending Camp Long Lake this summer, but you would like your callout at another BSA long term camp, you must request in writing an Out of Council callout (Below).  Include the camp you will be attending, the dates attending, and the name, address and phone number of the council operating the camp.  Submit the request to Lodge Adviser Greg Nebel at GNebel1@wi.rr.com or to the Council Service Center.

All Unit Election forms including Unit Election Report, Adult Recommendation, and Out of Council Request must be received at the Council Service Center by May 1.

Direct any questions to Lodge Unit Election Chairman Marshall Angst oaelections@pacbsa.org, Elections Adviser Rick Ryan 262-782-1543 RickRyan@wi.rr.com, Lodge Adviser Greg Nebel (262) 538-4212 GNebel1@wi.rr.com or Staff Adviser Bruce Prange at 262-544-4881 Bruce.Prange@scouting.org.
