RELIGIOUS RELATIONS COMMITTEE
MISSION

The mission of the Council Religious Relations Committee of the Potawatomi Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, in cooperation with the different faiths, is to help our youth and adults instill the moral and ethical values expressed in the Scout Oath / Promise and Law by promoting their religious emblem program, encouraging each unit to have a unit Chaplain Aide and helping with the funding of the Camp Chaplain.

The PAC Combined Religious Relations Committee would like to invite interested Scouters to become a representative from the committee for their district. The Committee is seeking a Catholic and a Protestant representative for each district to serve as resource persons. Please call Joe Wester (262) 790-2656 for the Catholic Committee or John Riedmaier (2620 781-0091 for the Protestant Committee.

In an ongoing effort to recognize boys who have earned their religious emblems, Districts should contact Ron Liebl, webmaster, with information from Pack and Troop Religious Emblems Counselors regarding which boys have recently achieved their religious emblems awards. Include the full name of the youth (this is a change from the old method of only providing the last initial), troop or pack number, district and which award has been earned. These will be posted under Religious Emblems Recognitions.
