Camping Committee
The Council Camping Committee's
responsibilities fall into three catagories:
- Outdoor Program:
- Plan and insure camping
programs are available the meet the needs of Cub Scouting and
Boy Scouting
- Recruit, train and schedule
campmastor corps to serve short-term camp
- Support Webelos Scout camp
and other outdoor Cub Scout Activities
- Supervise tours and tour
permits
- Coordinate family camping
program
- Conservation:
- Establish and insure that
the council follows a plan for proper use of all lands
- Develops a conservation program to involve the entire council membership
- Develop a unit leaders'
conservation guide.
- Promotion
- Promoew year-round outdoor
program to achieve national standard goals
- Promote camping literature,
visual aids, promotion programs, and meetings
- Promote OA projects
- "Where to go camping"
books
- Camp promotion teams
- Review High-adventure base
programs
